Today, Patrick N. Stafford (President) announces the new branding for Soima Cranes, now to be known as Stafford Tower Cranes.

Each crane will now have a new designation. And the full range of tower cranes will be made available globally. The current range includes many models from 5t to 42t maximum load, and their performance meets even the most demanding standards for today’s complex construction projects. All materials used in the construction of our cranes, components, production procedures and rigorous testing, place Stafford Tower Cranes among the very best in the market. We pride ourselves on our safety record and attention to the service to our clients.

We now have an extensive 2024-2025 modernization and innovation program in place to introduce new crane designs and models to the market. All are our own designs from our newly established Milano Tower Crane Hub design office. We are delighted to announce 3 new luffing crane models from 16t to 42t of a conventional design, with a further 5 models with a hydraulic luffing jib. The particular distinctive feature of this new family of hydraulic luffing cranes lies in its versatility. In ‘Flat mode’ it operates like a typical flat-top trolley crane. This operation is made simple by the crane operator via the new spacious cabin. This flexibility makes it unique and of great value for many construction site applications in confined or urban areas, and there are no compromises of quality, reliability or performance.

The innovation and product development program also includes the availability for all Stafford Tower Cranes customers to have the SC-Link platform, a revolutionary software system, allowing real-time monitoring of the crane, with daily reports, alarm alerts and or malfunctions alerts, increasing the safety in the use of our tower cranes. The SC-Link also provides a real-time technical information on the cranes position, alarms, productivity and maintenance parameters, which in turn increases the efficiency and safe use of the crane. It is vital and in our DNA that ‘safer and better’ is our priority by design, positioning Stafford Tower Crane at the very forefront of crane design. The manufacturing of the cranes is under the direct care and direction of Derek Stafford (Managing Director STC) who takes great pride in every crane produced. Other major benefits of all our cranes is the modular system and ease of erecting and dismantling the cranes, which directly affects the costs, time saving and safety on the job site.
